So Young and Insane on We Heart It. http://weheartit.com/entry/30042257
Love Vanessa Paradis and this video (featuring a dress from the Spring-Summer 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection specially created by Karl Lagerfeld) is super cute.
A musical interlude for Sunday afternoon…
Warpaint - ‘Billie Holliday’
If I was to design lingerie for anyone (aside from Juliette Lewis - been there, done that!), it would be singer/songwriter Lissie - I love her! She’s like a modern day Stevie Nicks and I just adore her laid back California cool style - no makeup, no gimmicks just an amazing voice!
The great news is that she’s done a fab cover of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Go Your Own Way’ - the perfect mix of a few of my favourite things (I’m a bit obsessed with good covers) - and for those who are interested, it’s also the music for the new Twinings ad.
Check out her cover of Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ and Metallica’s ‘Nothing Else Matters’ too.
Happy Birthday David - we love you!

Wedding fever has launched into full swing as Lily Allen celebrates her wedding day, Kate Moss parties on her hen do and there’s news that Sofia Coppola is getting hitched this summer - so we couldn’t help but get swept up in all things bridal.
We’ve been busy sourcing some vintage lace and delicate trims for a range of chic garters for the big day. A great gift for any bride, we’ll be adding them to the site very soon - so stay tuned!
On the subject of weddings, here are a few of our favourite rock ’n’ roll wedding pics (Bianca & Mick, Iman & David, Gwen & Gavin, Lily & Caleb):
Just as we finally launched the website, it’s time to start planning a photoshoot to showcase our new colourways for “high summer”. In contrast to what’s currently featured on bunnysmalls.com, the new pieces will be a vibrant mix of royal blue, hot pink, canary yellow and fiery orange, with clashing lace trims and ribbons.
Just as these new colours have a sense of attitude, we want our new shoot to have a certain rock ‘n’ roll swagger and who better to draw inspiration from but the one and only Juliette Lewis.
First step for planning the shoot was to create a moodboard of inspirational images and trawling the internet for photos of Juliette (and Gwen, Florence and Natasha for good measure) looking rock ‘n’ roll was easy.
So with the photographer booked, all we need is to confirm the model (pretty vital) and we’re all set to shoot next weekend. Let’s hope the results shape up to be as good as we’d hoped!
Welcome to the inside scoop from behind the scenes at Bunny Smalls. The last 12 months has been a mix of blood, sweat and tears (quite literally), as we’ve tried to get bunnysmalls.com off the ground.
A vast number of things have helped provide the motivation for the launch (in no particular order): the Rolling Stones and The Black Keys on repeat, a regular supply of red wine, a discerning house rabbit, a passion for promoting all things ‘Made in Britain’, a love of lacy lingerie, an addiction to sourcing fabulous fabrics, a marvelous web developer/gourmet sandwich-maker, the thought of giving a good friend and new mum a reason to leave the house, the Christian Dior exhibition at Somerset House, a well-received lace garter made for a friend’s wedding, Mad Men’s Betty & Don Draper, The Social Network, a somewhat competitive nature, Amelia’s Compendium of Fashion Illustration, supportive friends, enthusiastic market stall shoppers and a belief in creating something that’s been beautifully handmade - from start to finish.
From now on we will be bringing you regular updates of developments, previews of new products, backstage footage of photoshoots, as well as details of what inspires us at Bunny Smalls. We’d love to hear your comments and look forward to you joining us on our lacy lingerie adventure. xx
